About ToolKan

A set of small, free tools that each do one job and then get out of the way. No account, no upload for almost all of them, and nothing standing between you and the thing you came to do.

Why it exists

Most online utilities bury a thirty-second job under adverts, sign-up prompts and a file upload nobody asked for. ToolKan takes the opposite line: open the page, do the thing, close the tab. Every tool is a single page, loads in well under a second, and behaves the same on a phone as on a desktop.

How it works

Every page is plain HTML built ahead of time and served from a CDN, so nothing is rendered on demand and there is no queue to wait in. The interactive part is a small amount of JavaScript that runs on your own device.

Your data stays put

For almost every tool, what you paste or open is handled by your browser and never sent anywhere. Close the tab and it is gone: nothing is stored, and there is no account to attach it to.

What leaves your browser

Stays on your device

The formatters, converters, calculators, generators and the text and image tools all run inside the page itself. What you type or drop in never reaches a server, ours included.

Makes a request

Three exceptions, listed here so you do not have to guess. The QR generator renders the code image through an external service. The IP lookup queries an IP database. The currency converter fetches the daily European Central Bank rates, though it sends nothing about you.

What these tools are not

The BMI and finance calculators are here for a quick estimate, not as medical or financial advice. Every figure depends entirely on what you type in, and a decision that matters deserves a professional who knows your situation.

Still growing

The catalogue started with a handful of converters and keeps expanding. If something you need is missing, or something here is plain wrong, the contact page reaches a real person.
